Originally from the Greystone/Inverness area, Dr. Steven Beard is proud to serve the Birmingham community he calls home. His path to dentistry began with a degree in Chemical Engineering and an MBA from The University of Alabama, followed by his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the UAB School of Dentistry.
He completed his residency training at one of the nation’s most prestigious programs, focusing on full-arch restorations, advanced implant therapy, and cosmetic dentistry. During that time, he also helped train dentists from across the country in implant placement and IV sedation.
Since then, Dr. Beard has completed hundreds of implant and All-on-4 cases, with additional training in facial esthetics and oral appliances for sleep and airway health. He takes a personalized, whole-body approach to care, crafting treatment plans that support long-term oral and overall wellness. He believes dentistry should be built on trust, transparency, and integrity.
Dr. Beard lives in Hoover with his wife, Madeline, and their daughter, Nora. Outside the office, he enjoys cooking, staying active, leading worship at Church of the Highlands Greystone, and spending time on the lake with family.
